Welcome. These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Melissa Rae, LLC ("Melissa Rae," "I," "me," or "my") for your use of connectwithmel.com (the "Site") and for any course, mentorship, event, retreat, pilgrimage, resource, or product offered through it (the "Offerings"). By using the Site or purchasing an Offering, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. Wellness and health disclaimer

Everything shared through the Site and Offerings is for educational, inspirational, and personal-growth purposes. It is not medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice.

• I am not a licensed physician, therapist, or medical provider.
• Nothing here is intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or condition.
• Statements about essential oils, the Healy device, and other wellness products have not been evaluated by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
• Frequency medicine, essential oils, and energy practices are offered as complementary wellness tools, not replacements for professional medical care.
• Always consult a qualified healthcare provider before starting any new wellness practice, especially if you are pregnant, nursing, taking medication, have a medical device such as a pacemaker, or have a health condition.

You are responsible for your own health choices and for how you use the information and practices shared here.

2. Mentorship scope

Mentorship is a space for guidance, reflection, and personal growth. It is not therapy, counseling, or medical treatment, and it is not a substitute for them. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact a licensed professional or emergency services. Results depend on many factors, and no specific outcome is guaranteed. Each mentorship relationship is also governed by a signed Mentorship Agreement; if it conflicts with these Terms, the Mentorship Agreement applies.

3. Affiliate and referral disclosure

I am an independent distributor for Young Living Essential Oils, Wyld Notes and Healy. I am not an employee of any of these companies, and my views are my own. I also share other brands and products throughout the Site, my blog, and my emails. Some links are affiliate or referral links, which means I may receive a commission, product credit, rewards, or other benefits if you purchase through them, at no extra cost to you. Others carry no connection at all. Either way, I only share products I personally use or genuinely believe in, and when I have a relationship with a brand, I'll let you know near the recommendation. Purchases made through any third-party link are governed by that company's own terms, warranties, and return policies.

4. Purchases and payment

Purchases are completed through secure online order forms, and payments are processed by a trusted third-party payment processor. By checking the agreement box at checkout, you confirm that you have read and accept these Terms. Prices are listed in U.S. dollars and may change at any time; changes do not affect purchases already completed. By purchasing, you confirm you are authorized to use the payment method provided.

5. Refunds and cancellations

• Digital courses and resources: If you begin a course and feel it isn't the right fit, you may request a full refund within 72 hours of purchase, as long as you've opened the first module or prework. Simply email hello@connectwithmel.com and share a few words about your experience. After 72 hours, all sales are final. This honors both your trust and the care that goes into creating each offering.
• Mentorship programs: Payment, scheduling, rescheduling, and refund terms are set out in your individual Mentorship Agreement, which you'll sign before we begin.
• Events, retreats, and pilgrimages: Because each gathering is unique, deposits, payment schedules, cancellation, refund, and transfer terms are set out in the Participant Agreement for that specific offering, which you'll review and sign when you reserve your spot.
• If I cancel an Offering: You will receive a full refund of amounts paid to me or credit toward a future Offering. I am not responsible for non-refundable travel costs such as flights, so travel insurance is strongly encouraged.

6. Events, retreats, and pilgrimages

In-person gatherings and travel involve physical activity, travel, unfamiliar environments, and other inherent risks. Each event, retreat, and pilgrimage has its own Participant Agreement and Release of Liability, which you'll review and sign when you claim your spot or confirm your participation. That agreement governs your participation, including payment and cancellation terms, and applies if it conflicts with these Terms. You are responsible for your own travel documents, travel insurance, health preparation, and conduct. I may remove anyone whose behavior threatens the safety or wellbeing of the group, without refund.

7. Intellectual property

All content on the Site and in the Offerings, including text, teachings, courses, audio, video, images, graphics, logos, and designs, belongs to me or is used with permission and is protected by copyright and trademark law. When you purchase a course or resource, you receive a personal, non-transferable license to use it for your own growth. You may not copy, resell, share login access to, record, or redistribute my content, or use it to teach or create other offerings, without my written permission.

8. Community guidelines

When you join gatherings, group calls, or online communities, please honor the same reverence, respect, and reciprocity this work is rooted in. Keep what others share confidential. I may remove anyone who is harmful, harassing, or disruptive.

9. Charitable giving

A portion of proceeds from Offerings is directed to individuals, families, and communities through the projects described on the Site. These contributions are made directly and personally; unless stated otherwise, they are not made through a registered charity, and purchases are not tax-deductible donations.

10. Testimonials and results

Testimonials reflect individual experiences and are not a guarantee that you will get the same results.

11. Third-party links

The Site may link to other websites and services. I am not responsible for their content, products, or privacy practices.

12. Disclaimer of warranties

The Site and Offerings are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

13. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Melissa Rae, LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or Offerings. My total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid me for the Offering at issue.

14. Indemnification

You agree to hold harmless Melissa Rae, LLC from claims arising out of your use of the Site or Offerings or your violation of these Terms.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Sheridan County, Wyoming.

16. Privacy

Your use of the Site is also governed by my Privacy Policy.

17. Changes to these Terms

I may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date above shows the latest version, and continued use of the Site means you accept the updated Terms.
